This wine exhibits a saturated ruby color with purple nuances. Additionally, it is rich, with lots of extract, tannin, and body. The 1996 Barbaresco Faset is not very aromatically complex. It reveals oak, in addition to a raspberry/black cherry fruit component. Rich, medium-bodied, and potentially outstanding, it will be at its finest between 2002-2014.
