The 2007 Yotuel Finca de Valdepalacios comes from a 1.3 hectare parcel of 75-year-old Tinta del Pais. It has an extravagant, rich, powerful nose of blackberries, licorices and cases that retains good delineation. The palate is medium-bodied (not full-bodied as implied by the aromatics) with fresh, vibrant brambly black fruits and hints of sage and Provencal herbs toward the beautifully defined finish. This is superb. Drink now-2019.
