While there's no Les Glorieuses in 2012, the 2012 Coteaux du Languedoc Pic Saint Loup Metairies du Clos Vieilles Vignes is superb, with lots of sweet raspberry and blackberry fruit, dried herbs, flowers and pepper flowing to a medium to full-bodied, elegant, yet structured red that has building tannin and a great finish. It shows the house style with it purity of fruit and firm, focused feel, and will benefit from short term cellaring. Give it 2-3 years and drink bottles through 2027.
