Wonderfully complex, with ripe, rich, vibrant flavors and a smooth, supple texture that lets the core of currant, tobacco, cedar and spice flavors glide across the palate. But it's also a strongly oaked style, with lots of up-front smoke and cedar. Forward enough to enjoy now, but should age well. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. 600 cases made. ?JL
