It exhibits aromas of melted licorice, creme de cassis, burning embers, black currants, cherries, and smoky, meaty notes. Rich, full-bodied, and dense, but surprisingly accessible, it is ideal for drinking over the next 15+ years.

Starts rich, smooth and savory, with a medley of tight currant, black cherry and blackberry fruit. Full-bodied, structured and balanced, this gains depth and complexity on the finish, ending with anise and vanilla. Best from 2011 through 2017. 400 cases made.
