Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 92 points
The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon has put on considerable weight over the last 12 months. It exhibits aromas of melted licorice, creme de cassis, burning embers, black currants, cherries, and smoky, meaty notes. Rich, full-bodied, and dense, but surprisingly accessible, it is ideal for drinking over the next 15+ years.

Wine Spectator: 91 points
Starts rich, smooth and savory, with a medley of tight currant, black cherry and blackberry fruit. Full-bodied, structured and balanced, this gains depth and complexity on the finish, ending with anise and vanilla. Best from 2011 through 2017. 400 cases made.
