The 2006 Chardonnay Point Rouge (285 cases) is one of the candidates for Chardonnay of the vintage. A seamlessly ripe, rich, full-bodied Chardonnay, notes of hazelnut, white peach, smoke, pears, tropical fruits are all present in this wine, which has great intensity, beautiful acidity, and tremendous purity. This is a brilliant, exuberant wine that is classic and flawless in 2006.
