Vinous: 90 points
The 2010 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Minéral Grand Cru is a powerful, tightly wound wine that may need some time to show at its best. Even so, the honey, candied apricot, chamomile, brioche and vanillin are all suggestive of a wine that is on a relatively fast aging curve. The 2010 will drink well relatively early, but I would not wait too long, as the Minéral does not appear to be built for long-term aging. As always, the Minéral emerges from Les Champboutons (in Avize) and Les Bionnes (in Cramant) vineyards. Dosage is 5 grams per liter. Disgorged: March 2016.
