Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 93 points
The 2010 Zinfandel Grist Vineyard wraps around the palate with black cherries, menthol, tar and licorice. Rich, sweet and powerful, the Grist is built on a serious core of both fruit and structure. There is a level of mid-palate pliancy and generosity that allows the Grist to sing. This parcel is planted on St. George rootstock, which isn’t seen too often these days. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020.
