Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 91 points

The 2012 Citius Pinot Noir is produced with grapes planted at 1,000 meters altitude; it fermented with some full clusters in stainless steel with malolactic in well-seasoned Burgundy barrels, and underwent a slow and long aging of 18 months. The wine shows quite young, in fact it feels younger than it is, like it's developing quite slowly. There are some traces of toasted sesame seeds and notions of lees over a core of ripe red fruit. The varietal character is shy but seems to be developing with the years. The tannins are fine and there is good freshness and balance, quite fresh for the warm and dry year. A wine that is slowly improving and gaining in character, but still oakier than what I'd like to see. 25,000 bottles were filled in January 2015.
