Light vivid red. A sexy, highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh red and dark berries, cola and allspice, backed by a subtle vanilla note. Juicy, appealing sweet and light on its feet, offering intense black raspberry, cherry cola and spicecake flavors and a hint of smokiness on the back half. Extremely suave for an entry-level wine, showing no rough edges and an impressively long, sweet, red-fruit-dominated finish. This may be the best-value Pinot that I tasted from the vintage.
