Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 90 points
The 2015 Coto de Hayas Garnacha Centenaria is a juicy, chewy and not oaky red produced with the grapes from old, head-pruned vineyards in the zones of Monte Alto and La Sarda on slate and red soils. It fermented with selected yeasts and matured in French oak barrels for four months. This is the freshest of the wines I tasted, with more fruit in the foreground, better-integrated oak and ultimately is the more drinkable wine. This is nicely balanced, and an improvement over previous vintages. It's not a super-complex wine, but highly drinkable. 200,000 bottles produced. -Luis Gutiérrez

“This luscious red is rich and alluring, with rich raspberry ganache and vanilla flavors that impart a sweet character, supported by lively citrusy acidity that keeps this balanced. A bold, fruity style. Drink now through 2020.” – Thomas Matthews
