Vinous: 92-93 points
Acacia flower, freesia and wood resin mingle with ripe apple and melons on the nose, anticipating the luscious fruitiness of this wine?s polished palate performance, but giving no hint of how transparent to myriad mineral and herbal nuances it turns out to be. What?s more, a crunchy alliance of cucumber and lettuce lends further counterpoint and stimulation to a vibrantly sustained finish. Last tasted in June 2016, this was due for September bottling and expected to appear on the US market in early 2017.
