Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 89 points
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a nose of crème de cassis, plum preserves, cigar boxes, and garrique with dried herbs and sandalwood in the undercurrent. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers tons of ripe black fruits, licorice and dried herbs with a chewy frame and good balance.

Bright violet color. Ripe dark berry and floral aromas pick up subtle tobacco and pungent floral and herb nuances as the wine stretches out. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering appealingly sweet blackberry and bitter cherry flavors that put on weight on the back half. Youthfully tannic on the sharply focused, persistent finish, which features lingering suggestions of candied rose and mocha.
