The 2016 S de Suduiraut Blanc is a blend of 56% Semillon and 44% Sauvignon Blanc aged in 20% new oak for nine months. It was picked on 8 and 9 September. It has a fragrant bouquet with apple blossom and cold limestone scents, fresh and well defined. The palate is well balanced with a lively, orange zest tinged entry. There is lovely balance and freshness here with a poised, quite stony and reserved finish. There is a big difference between this and the Le Blanc Sec de Suduiraut.
