Collestefano’s Verdicchio di Matelica DOC is a cult classic that is recognized far and wide as one of the best Verdicchio wines. Whether it is drunk straight away or stored in your cellar for a few years, this fresh, fruity and mineral wine never ceases to impress. Fabio Marchionni cultivates his certified-organic Verdicchio grapes just outside of the wine-producing municipality of Castelraimondo on the foothills of the Appenine Mountains.This straw-colored white wine with a greenish tinge boasts fresh and intense notes of white flowers and fruit including citrus, apple and peach. Whereas in the mouth it features a lovely fruitiness, that is at once characterised by great flavor and a prominent mineral quality.
