“Another beautiful wine that’s a Northern Rhône look-alike, the 2018 Syrah Sonoma Coast sports a nearly opaque ruby/plum color to go with an attractive nose of ripe red and black berry fruits intermixed with smoked game, ground pepper, leafy herbs, bay leaf, and a touch of graphite. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a rich, fleshy texture, notable freshness, and bright tannins, all of which give it a clean, classic, very Northern Rhône-like style. It’s a joy to drink today, yet it should easily evolve for 7-8 years. Maturity 2021 – 2029.” – Jeb Dunnuck

“The 2018 Syrah (Sonoma Coast) is a rich, generous wine for Red Car. Inky red/purplish berry fruit, rose petal, spice and licorice are all kicked up in this inviting, beautifully textured Syrah.
