“Showing style and personality, this Pinot is expressive with raspberry, savory forest floor and dusky spice flavors that take on structure toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2029.” – Tim Fish

“Originally this was a blend of all the fruit from the Solena estate, but now it encompasses all the vineyards that Laurent Montalieu owns, including those in Southern Oregon. The wine upholds a very high standard considering the size of the production (7,000 cases). The fruit is initially a bit restrained but opens on the palate to show more black plum than red cherry; the structure is reassuringly tannic but without any astringency, and the supple, velvety texture is delightfully approachable even in its youth. Drinking Window 2021 – 2031.” – Charles Curtin MW

“Brilliant ruby. Cherry and raspberry scents show very good clarity and pick up spice and floral accents with air. Juicy and focused in the mouth, offering subtly sweet red fruit and spicecake flavors and a hint of succulent herbs. Nicely concentrated but lively as well, finishing long and smooth, with even tannins making a late appearance. 12% new French oak. Drinking window 2022 – 2029.” – Josh Raynolds
