The Wine House is thrilled to welcome owner Filippo Chia to present the wines of Castello Romitorio. Renowned painter and sculptor Sandro Chia acquired the property in 1984, the Castello Romitorio farm dedicating it to the research, discovery, and promotion of Brunello di Montalcino wine. His link with the master cellarman and expert of the territory Franco Martini has led to the production of outstanding wines. Sandro’s son, Filippo Chia, is now the owner of the estate, and manages winemaking. Sandro designs all of the labels for the wines, and is still an active artist.

This tasting will give attendees the opportunity to be among the first in the US to sample wines from the stunning 2015 Brunello vintage! Filippo will pour both the 2013 and the 2015 of the regular Brunello, the 2013 and 2015 Filo di Seta, and the 2012 Brunello Riserva.
