NOTE: Wine tasting kit will be available for pickup after 2PM on Monday, February 22, 2021. Select “Ship My Order” in the Cart if you want the wine tasting kit shipped to you. Shipping is free of charge within a 20 mile radius of our store. If you are in Southern California, but outside the 20 mile radius of the store, please add the flat rate shipping ($15.95) as a separate item to your order. This Level 1 Award in Wines is a 4-week, 7 module online learning program with educator support available during the course. The course modules should be followed in order, but students are free to complete the modules at their own pace during this 4-week window. The course material should take about 6 hours in total to complete, plus revision time. Regular access and participation in the course online activities is essential for this mode of study.
The course prepares the student for WSET qualifications and they are guided by a WSET online educator. Students can contact the educator any time for the duration of the scheduled course, should they have any questions. Each module includes a series of independent activities to help students understand the differences between grape varieties and types and styles of wine.
Students are advised to taste a range of wines during their studies, and a wine tasting kit with six wines is included in the course fee. Upon registration, students will be advised of additional recommended wines to taste. Students can post their tasting notes in the Online Classroom for review by the educator.
Online study materials will be sent to the student’s email address between February 15 and February 21 by the WSET. Students will be automatically registered to take the online exam on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 10AM.

CANCELLATIONS: Because student information will be submitted to the WSET on Sunday, February 14, cancellations are only accepted for this class until February 13, and all bookings are final after that. There can be no refunds after the student’s registration is submitted to the WSET.
