“Mastroberardino's historic Santo Stefano del Sole vineyard reaches up to 600 metres above sea level. It produces the grapes for Radici, a mineral, stony expression of Fiano di Avellino which combines creamy apricot, ripe orange peel, lemon leaf and balsamic aromas with intense flavours of stone fruits and apple. Zingy and pithy, its impressive acidity is balanced by a mineral backbone and textural creaminess. The long, super-fresh finish lasts for minutes! Drinking Window 2022 – 2036” – James Button

“This is like lying in a meadow on a hot summer’s day, soaking up the wild thyme, buttercup, lemon-grass and chamomile aromas. Limey citrus punctuates the summer-meadow on the medium-bodied palate, adding focus and direction. All comes together on the long finish. This is what top, young fiano is about. Enjoy now, or even hold.” – James Suckling

“The 2020 Fiano di Avellino Radici is a wine of contrasts that holds your attention firm with a spicy bouquet of sour apple, lemon zests and lime complemented by sweet florals and hints of smoke. This is powerful and youthfully dense, offset by a core of saline-infused acidity and tart orchard fruits. It leaves a glycerol-like coating of primary concentration upon the senses, which slowly melts away to reveal chalky minerals and an enriching nuance of almond paste. You can easily enjoy the 2020 today for its suave character, or lose it in your cellar for a number of years. Drinking window 2022 – 2026.” – Eric Guido
