1990 Gaja Barolo Sperss Langhe

The 1990 Angelo Gaja Barolo Sperss just continues to sing every time I’ve been lucky enough to drink a bottle, and this is a glorious Barolo drinking at point. Offering heavenly notes of rose petals, violets, exotic spices, and both red and black fruits, it’s silky and refined on the palate, with sweet tannins and a supple, sexy even, style.
