2004 Domaine Jacques-Frederic Mugnier Musigny Grand Cru

Deep red. Classic aromas of small wild red berries, mocha and underbrush. Broad, sweet and deep-particularly impressive in the context of the vintage-without any loss of clarity or aromatic lift. Wonderfully suave, full wine that's also surprisingly tastable today. Finishes with noble tannins, noteworthy sweetness of fruit and terrific lift. This one should probably be laid down for seven or eight years. Review Date: March 2007
