The 2007 Marchesi Antinori Tignanello Toscana IGT hails from the prestigious Tuscany region of Italy. This wine showcases a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, offering a complex flavor profile characterized by dark fruit, subtle oak, and earthy undertones. Its robust structure and balanced acidity contribute to a refined finish, making it suitable for both immediate enjoyment and extended aging. With age the upfront fruit, tannins and overall structure soften making for a more cohesive, complex and elegant red.
It pairs well with rich dishes such as braised meats, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses, elevating the dining experience.

Big, rich and dense, this is still a bit closed despite being integrated. The velvety texture embraces cherry, plum, tobacco, iron and spice aromas and flavors. Long, with a terrific aftertaste. (BS)
A highly aromatic wine with cinnamon-spiced redcurrant and raspberry fruits. This is rich, layered and full of pleasure as it slides towards 13 years old. There is a striking softness to the tannins that is pure seduction, coupled with dried leaf edging, as well as grilled and smoky rosemary with saffron touches. It has a saline, salty caramel finish that gives focus and freshness at the close of play. (JA) Review Date: 11/2019
