The 2008 Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve is a robust red wine from Napa Valley, known for its rich, full-bodied flavor profile. It features ripe blackcurrant and plum notes, complemented by hints of cocoa and vanilla from oak aging, characteristic of the terroir in this prestigious wine region. With age the upfront fruit and tannins soften and the overall structure becomes more cohesive, complex and elegant.
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with red meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.

One of the few wineries to make a 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve that eclipsed its 2007 counterpart is Anderson’s Conn Valley. A spectacular effort that is as black as a moonless night, this full-bodied wine boasts abundant aromas of creme de cassis, camphor and subtle oak presented in a voluptuously textured, full-bodied style with terrific richness and depth. Great intensity and opulence as well as a layered mouthfeel make for a remarkable wine that should age for 20-30+ years. Tucked away in the sometimes seemingly forgotten Conn Valley, this winery is run with considerable gusto by Todd Anderson and his winemaker Mac Sawyer. This is an undeniable source of very complex and potentially age worthy wines … If you have not yet discovered the wines from this nearly 28 acre vineyard tucked away a few miles east of the famed Meadowood Resort, it’s time.
