2013 Andremily Wines Syrah No. 2 Santa Barbara County

I love the wines from Jim Binn’s Andremily label, and the 2013 Andremily No 2 is an incredible effort that offers blockbuster styled aromatics with an elegant, seamless, silky style on the palate. Crème de cassis, jammy blackberries, ground pepper, and exotic lavender notes change beautifully in the glass, and while it’s going to be very long-lived, it’s already a joy to drink. Enjoy this blend of 85% Syrah, 11% Mourvèdre, and 4% Viognier anytime over the coming two decades or more. Review Date: August 2018
