2013 Pulido Walker Cabernet Sauvignon Melanson Vineyard Napa Valley

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Melanson Vineyard definitely eclipses its older sibling. It is similarly opaque purple in color, but reveals greater fruit intensity, more massive concentration, but still keeps its delineation and vibrancy on display. Loads of blueberries, blackberries and white flowers jump from the glass of this full-bodied wine, which shares a wonderful opulence and extravagant fruit nature with the Panek, but comes across slightly more floral. This is a beauty to drink over the next 20+ years. Review Date: December 2015
