2013 Riecine Riecine di Riecine

Packaged in a Burgundian bottle, the 2013 Riecine pours forth with a dark garnet color. By appearance alone, the wine seems older than it really is. This expression of 100% Sangiovese is silky and tight with dried aromas of cassis and spice. The bouquet is a bit closed and will need more time to find its voice (although I feel inclined to suggest a shorter drinking window nonetheless). The wine is fermented in cement and aged in a very small percentage of neutral oak.
