2014 Bevan Cellars Proprietary Red Ontogeny Napa

The 2014 Ontogeny Red Wine is composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple in color, it has a wonderfully flamboyant nose of fruitcake, powdered cinnamon, incense and kirsch with hints of dried mint and dusty earth. The rich, full-bodied palate has plenty of freshness and offers pleasant chewiness on the long, spicy finish. (LPB) Review Date: February 2021
