"Equally provocative and profound is the magnificent 2014 Chardonnay Point Rouge. Complex notes of tropical fruits intermixed with toast, smoked almonds, brioche and white peach are stunning in this prodigious, full-bodied, multidimensional Chardonnay. Both the 2015 and 2014 are 10- to 15-year wines, but extremely difficult to find in the marketplace. As I have mentioned in the past, readers should note the slight greenish hue to all of the Peter Michael Chardonnays, which seems to be a healthy sign of high-quality fruit and the chlorophyll from the vines." - Robert M.
