2016 Bilancia Chardonnay Hawke's Bay

Bilancia's 2016 Chardonnay is a medium to full-bodied effort, marked by notes of toasted hazelnuts, white peach and pineapple. It's round in the mouth, then comes to a crisp, citrusy close. I don't find it as compelling as the 2015, but it remains a top-notch Chardonnay. Review Date: February 2019
