2016 Lis Neris Pinot Grigio Gris (was $34.99)

The Pecorari family's passion for monovarietal wines is well represented by the 2016 Friuli Isonzo Pinot Grigio Gris, aged on the fine lees for 11 months with bâtonnage. The heavy rains of 2016 during the flowering season caused the family some concern for yields. In the end, everything worked out beautifully. The wine is slightly flinty, with flashes of preserved lemon and white peach. Some 45,000 bottles were produced. Review Date: August 2019
