2017 Bodegas Mustiguillo Mestizaje Blanco, El Terrerazo DOP

The entry-level white is the 2017 Mestizaje Blanco, a Mediterranean blend of dry-farmed organic vineyards of Merseguera with some 24% Viognier and 11% Malvasía. It fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and was kept in contact with the fine lees until bottling. It reflects the generous style of the year with a round palate and soft acidity, with clean aromas with notes of hay and straw, a nutty touch and fresh notes of white fruit and flowers. It's very approachable but still young and lively. 67,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2018. Review Date: April 2019
