2017 Domaine Denis Bachelet Cote de Nuit-Villages

Charming and expressive, Bachelet's 2017 Côte de Nuits-Villages is showing well from bottle, bursting with aromas of berries, cherries and plums, complemented by notes of forest floor and a deft application of new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, with lively acids and an open-knit core of fruit. This will drink well young. Review Date: January 2020
