2018 Colene Clemens Adriane Pinot Noir Chehalem Mountains

This cuvée is principally a blend of Dijon 115 and 777 clones. It's dark and sturdy, with stiff tannins and a strong savory streak. Details of clove, coffee, herb, earth, clay and wet stone are threaded through, making this a wine that merits extra attention. The balance throughout is exemplary. It was aged 11 months in 29% new French oak. Review Date: October 2021
