2018 Domaine Bachelet Monnot St. Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru

"The 2018 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru requires a little coaxing from the glass, but is well worth the effort, revealing beautifully defined malic aromas, mixed with wet limestone and fumé scents that blossom after a couple of minutes. The palate is extremely well balanced with a fine bead of acidity that cuts through the green apple and fresh pear notes. Quite linear and taut, it reveals fine depth toward the finish, though it needs just a tad more persistence on the aftertaste.
