"Both these 2018s from Chapelle Saint Theodoric were tasted as barrel samples. Starting with the 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Guigasse (100% Grenache), it offers a richer, more powerful style than the Le Grand Pin, boasting a deeper purple color, loads of peppery spice, garrigue, mulled black cherries, and forest floor notes, ripe tannins, and an expansive, sexy texture.
