2020 Dragonette Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills

The 2020 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard is one of the deeper hued releases in the lineup, although it's still a translucent ruby/plum color. Coming from clay loam soils and aged 19 months on the lees in French oak, it gives up lots of exotic red and blue fruits as well as sappy flowers, medium body, ripe yet firm tannins, terrific balance, and a great finish. I'd give bottles a year or two, and it's going to evolve for well over a decade. Review Date: August 2022
