2020 Vinos en Voz Baja Costumbres Rioja Red Blend

"The red 2020 Costumbres Tinto has a captivating and floral nose denoting elegance, freshness and balance in a warm region and a warm year. Carlos Mazo reckons this is around 80% Garnacha and 10% each Tinta Velasco (an obscure local grape) and Tempranillo that, despite the 14.7% alcohol, feels very balanced and even fresh. The tannins are very fine and the finish dry and chalky. The vines are now certified organic. 15,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2021.
