2021 Scar of the Sea Pinot Gris + Pinot Noir CoFerment, Bassi Vineyard

This is a fascinating fermented blend of 66% Pinot Gris and 34% Pinot Noir, showing a purple-ish Pinot color in the glass and hitting the nose with snappy raspberry, pomegranate and herb aromas. The palate is extremely textural, with white pepper, dried herb and more bright red-fruit flavors. Review Date: October 2022
