2022 Grabenwerkstatt Bruck Riesling Smaragd Wachau

The 2022 Riesling Ried Bruck is clear, precise and fresh on the intensely fruity, herbal and lemony nose that intermingles white peach aromas with saline notes of crushed rocks and woodruff. Rich and savory on the vital and still nervous palate, this is a full-bodied, dense and tightly structured yet elegant dry Riesling. It is still far from being developed but is very promising due to the concentrated yet rich and sweet fruit core and the mineral backbone. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in March 2024.
