2024 Williams Selyem Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

The 2024 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is a shade deeper magenta-toned in color and delivers notes of graphite, dark stones, black cherries, black raspberries, peppery spice, and pressed flowers. Medium-bodied, though broader-shouldered on the palate, it has refreshing lift and vibrant acidity. Earl Grey and tangerine tones emerge again here, and Jeff compared the vintage character to 2013.

This fruit-driven example is textbook Russian River Valley, with punchy pomegranate and cherry fruit that leads the way, while iris and hibiscus notes fill in liberally through the long, seductive, red licorice–coated finish. Drink now through 2032.
