NV Mouzon-Leroux Cuvée L'Incandescent Rose Champagne (2014)

The NV Extra Brut L'Incandescent Rose de Saignee is a very pretty and expressive wine. Deep in both color and flavor, the 2014 speaks with an articulate voice. Some slightly angular contours remain, but the quality of what is in the glass is impossible to miss. Another year or two in bottle will only help the wine come together a bit more fully. A soft and creamy rosé Champagne, with soft citrus peel acidity balancing rich notes of strawberry pâte de fruit, lemon pastry cream, brioche and smoke. Offers a minerally finish of moderate length.
