Think of it as a bit of Napa Valley history in your cellar and celebrated in a glass with friends and family. Your Premiere Napa Valley wine is made from 100% estate grown mountainside Cabernet Sauvignon from old-vine blocks (average age: 23 years) making this wine rich and nuanced. It is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot and 10% Merlot. Unfined, unfiltered and aged in 80% new French oak barrels, it is a deep and resonant wine with black cherry and plum fruit and notes of cardamom, graphite and roasted coffee. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 97 points

The 2014 Proprietary Red is comprised of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Petit Verdot and 5% Merlot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it is still very primary and comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant crushed blueberries, black cherries, blackcurrants and violets notes with suggestions of dark chocolate, cast iron pan, lavender and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, firm, very finely crafted and possessing great finesse, it finishes long and layered.
